I have to agree with the DS->St S->Eleven for an always satisfying "suite". Over the years (I wish I was one of those 40 year olds living in my parent's basement, but many years past that age), The Eleven has really caught my attention more and more. It really puts a cap on the DS->SS combination in a rockin' way.

The Eleven has really grown on me, too, over about 35 years; there are loads of great transitions out of St Stephen into The Eleven.

Other transitions:
China > Rider as many have mentioned, probably top of my list;
Not Fade Away > GDTRFB > Not Fade Away;
Estimated > Eyes.

Regarding other bands,Umphrey's McGee also come to mind. I thoroughly recommend their "Jimmy Stewart: The Album" which you can buy via livedownloads:
